Sensor Storage and Handling Precautions

  1. Hold only ‘PCB’ of sensors without holding gold-colored cavity directly to avoid the physical shock.

  2. Avoid to drop sensors. Rough handling or Transportation could result in inaccurate reading.

  3. Proper ESD protection during handling is important to avoid electrostatic defect occurrence. The storage of sensors should be insulated as well.

  4. Do not store sensors in high humidity and high temperature condition when sensors are off. Measurements may show abnormally high figures.

  5. Be careful when install sensors on customer's products not to get effected by vibration/shock which might cause serious damanges. Sensors must be installed away from motors which could cuase vibration and noise.

  6. Try to install sensors close to ceilings when it's installed at indoor places such as offices, buildings etc. as CH4 is less than air.

  7. Highly recommended to do 10' MCDL 1~2 times before using sensors if they are long-term stored.
